Symbol Original Name

I note on the .BOM a column titled Original Name. I had not noticed when modifying my schematic that apparently an R is prefixed to the symbol name under some conditions. Can anyone explain when the R is prefixed (under what conditions)?

Would you please send your .123 file to support@sunstone.com for review?

This happens when the reference designator is changed from the Edit Component dialog or from a netlist import, a property called “ORIGNAME” is added to the component which is referenced in the BOM export.

This does not happen when the reference designator is changed from the context menu command.

We do still use interchange the 150 and 170 Tg material. Both materials are lead-free options. If you must specify the material to be used you should order through our Sunstone PCB Full Feature service with fabrication notes stating the Tg you need. We have not had any issues interchanging these materials for RoHS boards.
