Removing wires

How do you select a wire between two closely adjacent pins on a component? Seems like I just snap back and forth to each pin without ever selecting the wire. I find I have to remove and reinstall such a component to delete wires. Is there something I am missing?

If you have two adjacent pins that are connected on the schematic and you want to break the connection you can go to the layout footprint right click on the pin you want to disconnect and select Disconnect pin from net. This schematic bug has been reported to our developer.

This one still seems to be with us. But now, with 5.1, Sal's suggestion does not seem to work. In case I didn't understand, Sal, can you explain exactly what you meant?

Whoops! Open mouth, insert foot. My apologies to Sal! I misunderstood his instructions. One goes to Layout, then to the component then right click on the _PIN_ desired, which brings up a menu with the choice to disconnect the pin from the net. This then reverse propagates to the Schematic layout and, voila, the pin is disconnected.
