PCB123 V5 Released!

Sunstone Circuits just released PCB123 V5, available on the downloads page at www.sunstone.com.
The new version includes a number of bug fixes and enhancements to program functions, but most importantly, V5 offers full support for slots/cutouts and support for unrestricted drill sizes in your PCB123 design.
Slots/Cutouts can be included in your board outline, and can also be included in parts definitions for components that require them. If your design requires more than the limit of four cutouts for a quickturn style service, your design can be upgraded to the Full Feature service as well.
Unrestricted drill sizes now mean that you can design to tighter production-style tolerances from the very beginning of your design process.
Because slots/cutouts required a change to the PCB123 file structure, files converted to V5 are not backward compatible to earlier versions of PCB123. While we are certain you'll find V5 to be a forward step in functionality and reliability, we do recommend that you migrate your existing designs carefully, just in case.
As ever, our technical support staff is available 24/7/365 to help you with any PCB123 questions, or to talk you through your migration. Don't hesitate to eamil us, chat with us, or call us on the toll free number.
