If you are trying to download a standard library file in the parts library and the process fails you will receive an error message. Here a few items to check to help you determine the source of the issue.
1. You will want to find out if your company has a firewall that is blocking PCB123's access to the internet. Please ask your network admin.
2. Check to see if you nee to enter any proxy settings in Internet Explorer's internet options. PCB123 will check I.E.'s proxy settings and use those settings to access the internet.
3. Verify that you have Internet Explorer installed on your windows OS. Some users do not like to use I.E. and will uninstall it. This will cause all file downloads in PCB123 to fail. PCB123 is preset to use Internet Explorer browser to download parts library files from Sunstone's server.
