Insufficient copper to board edge

by Eric Haugen » Thu Nov 29, 2012 1:07 pm

Often we see customers submit designs with copper leading up to or close to the edge of the board. This can result in non functional boards after it has been routed. We request a minimum backset of .020" (or .010" on outer layers with Full Feature) to avoid manufacturing issues.
