CAM350 supported?

    by vleo » Tue Jul 31, 2012 8:24 am

I wonder if Sunstone would be able to use CAM350 by Downstream Technologies format for gerber / ncdrill files submitted.

Thank you,
V.L.

I am sorry that we can not use Cam350. If you can convert that to gerber file format, we will be able to make the PCB for you.

The Industry standard format for files used to generate artwork necessary for printed circuit board imaging. Sunstone's preferred Gerber format is RS274X, which places aperture information in the header of each gerber layer file (see Aperture information).

If files are not saved in RS274X, Sunstone will need one aperture list sent with the files.

When your software outputs more than one aperture list we may place your order on hold until we receive your instructions or correctly formatted files. It is recommended you download gerbv http://sourceforge.net/projects/gerbv/, a free gerber file viewer that will allow you to preview your Gerber files as they are interpreted by our CAM software.

If you need help from CAM350 to do the gerber conversion, here is the contact info:
