Rogers 4350 + Agilent Design System
PostPosted: Mon May 28, 2012 2:10 am
Good morning.
I've recently ordered a PCB from Sunstone and I'm trying to fit the measurements of the Vector Network Analyzer with the results obtained with the Agilent Design Systems 2011 software.
I've defined the substrate on the software as follows:
+ Thickness of the Rogers 4350 (measured in the laboratory) 0,020"
+ Dielectric constant: 3,66 (as Rogers 4350B indicates).
+ Thickness of the conductor : 1 oz (0,035 mm)
+ Type of the conductor: I assume that is Copper, but the PCB is Silver Plate Finishing. Does the silver plate finish indicates that the conductor is Silver?
When I compare both measurements and results, both doesn't fit. The frequency range in which I'm performing the measurements is 100 MHz until 4 GHz.
Am I defining correctly the substrate on ADS?
Thank you very much.
