Hello,

Generating the NC Drill file using EAGLE Software is a separate process from the generation of Gerber Files. To generate the NC Drill file click on the green CAM film icon at the top of the editor's window in EAGLE software. (See attached pdf for screenshots of procedure). The CAM Processor window will open. Go to File > Open Job... when the 'Open CAM Job' window opens, choose 'excellon.com' from the list of jobs in the cam job directory. With the excellon job opened in the CAM Processor, click on 'Process Job' at the bottom of the window.

The excellon job will generate two files; the 'DRI' = Drill Station Info File and the 'DRD'= NC Drill File. The 'NC Drill' file is the file actually used for the drill program and to determine the size and location of holes in the Printed Circuit Board , but sending both files will be beneficial since the Drill Station Info File does contain helpful information.

Was looking for this information for days, thanks. I was actually having similar trouble to generate gerber files, but this seems to solve it too.
