Re: Relay libraries not included with PCB123

All of the libraries we have available are included with PCB123 in the taxonomy. If you can't find the part you need check the footprint libraries. Go to the layout and select Design > Edit Footprint. Here search for relay. You will find several options. You can edit one of these to match the part y...

Re: Out of Memory (RAM) in PCB123 5.0.3.1?

I see file size changing anywhere from 1 to 10 megs when editing a file as you described. I haven't been able to reproduce a 100 meg jump. Would you please send you file to support@sunstone.com and provide the steps you go through including the description of the part? Please also provide your compu...

Re: 2-sided footprint that's not a mirror image

You probably don't need pads right up to the edge, but if you do you can ignore the warning. Pulling the pads back 10 to 20 mils will resolve the error.

Re: Panelization with PCB123

You can copy and paste the layout and make a panel that you will cut apart later. The distance between boards really depends on the accuracy of the tools you are using to separate the boards. Copy and paste is pretty straight forward. Select the entire pcb layout then use Ctrl C to copy and Ctrl V t...

Re: 2-sided footprint that's not a mirror image

Both sides of the part, top and bottom footprint will be represented on the schematic. If you don't create a symbol for the bottom pads one will be created for you on the schematic sync page. It's up to you how you want to see it on your schematic.

Re: Moving a Part without the Trace

If you click and hold the traces move with the part. If you click and release you can move the part without moving traces. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Re: 2-sided footprint that's not a mirror image

You will need to make two footprints. One for the top and another for the bottom pads. Once you have the footprints place them on you layout. ⋅ Move the top pads into position. ⋅ Mouse over the footprint for the bottom layer pads, right click and select opposite side. This will m...

Re: Panelization with PCB123

PCB123 does not have tools for panelizing boards. If you want to order a panel of a single pcb you can go directly to the Sunstone Printed Circuit Website with your completed layout and order through our PCBpro service. There you can fill out the online quote form. To get the boards panelized you ca...

Re: Cu conductor thickness

You can get < 1 oz Cu through our Custom Quote service, but the holes will have < .0005" plating which is less than what IPC-6012 calls for.
