Hi Sal,
I updated to 5.1.0 and could not bring any parts into a schematic. When I select the part , the symbol and footprint appear in the preview window, but nothing shows up when I try to place it on schematic. I tried a reinstall, no change. I had to reinstall 5.0.3. to make it work.

Thank,
Steve Green

You now need to double click on a part in the Taxonomy to select it.

These are all issues resulting from the user side. For the first two problems it means that you do not have authority on your computer to access the folders necessary to save a part. You will need to have your IT person fix this to make sure you have the administrator rights to save to your computer. The third problem is a firewall error. Again, you will need to have your IT person come in and make sure that the program is able to access the internet.
