You can specify this in a readme file, either as a .txt or a .pdf file. If this is a hard gold connector you will need to order this through our Custom Quote service. I would recommend submitting it through that service.
This is happening because you do not have access to the files that you are supposed to save the parts to. Are you the administrator on your computer? You will need to make sure that you have the authority to save to your computer. You should talk to your IT guys about fixing this on your side.
When you open up PCB123 there shoud be a list of recently used PCB123 files. This sounds like a problem with your operating system. The software should just automatically go to the file you recently opened. If you have never opened the file before you might have to navigate the path to the files.
