Copy & Paste possitioning

Hello, I would like to replicate PCB Design . PCB design in layout window using copy and paste. The problem that I run into is that the pasted design coordinates are some rather odd numbers in reference to the board and to mouse cursor. I am not able to place the pasted design to the desired locatio...

Re: 2-sided footprint that's not a mirror image

Thanks again!

How do I treat edge connectors in PCB123? When I place pads at the board edge, I get an error that required spacing between objects and board edge is 0.0125". Should I ignore it or move pads away from edge?

Re: Panelization with PCB123

Thank for clarification Sal! If we would just create multiple copies on the same layout on a single PCB and dice it in house later, would it work? What would be recommended minimal spacing? Also, what's the most efficient way to cut and paste layout with associated schematic and parts in PCB123?

Re: 2-sided footprint that's not a mirror image

Sal,

Thanks for info! Do I understand it right that there will be one footprint on the layout attached to actual schematic part (say, the top footprint) and a second (bottom) foot print which is not part of the schematic?

2-sided footprint that's not a mirror image

I'm trying to make a footprint for SMA board edge connector (e.g. DigiKey P/N WM5536-ND). the connector has 3 solder pads on top side and 2 on the bottom. I search the forums and still cant figure out how can I make such a footprint. Could you point me in a right direction?

Panelization with PCB123

We need to have a number of identical small boards made, with sizes in the order of 0.3"x1". Is there any way to design some sort break-away panelized board in PCB123? For example via routing, perforation holes, or V-score?
