I have just used this to import a netlist from an old design from sch V2 SW that I needed to update. I have gotten serveral errors that were reported as footprint has pins not in symbol. I went back and added the NC pins to the symbol but now I get "error encountered, rolling back" it give...

Hi Sal, I updated to 5.1.0 and could not bring any parts into a schematic. When I select the part , the symbol and footprint appear in the preview window, but nothing shows up when I try to place it on schematic. I tried a reinstall, no change. I had to reinstall 5.0.3. to make it work. Thank, Steve...

Breaking schematic into pages

I have completed a design and want to print out the schematic. Unfortantly, I made the drawing too big to print with the printer I have access to. I tried to add pages and copy parts of the schematic to it, BUT it then proceded to unroute that section. Does anybody know a way to break up the schemat...

I work on two PC's, a work PC and a home PC. When I last updated my home libries from my work files, I overwrote a part I had previously created. The part existed in a different schematic, I know I can store the footprint and use it to create the part, but is there anyway to save the symbol from the...

DXF export error

I have attempted to export the mechanical and assembly layers of a layout to create a silkscreen file. I am getting an exception error "unexpected structured exception caught". Any ideas? thanks
