inner plane layers

Postby trace twiddler » Wed Jan 29, 2014 10:46 am

When using inner plane layers for nets, will the plane show up as a polygon? I see no indication that there is a connection to the planes in the layout or the 3d view. I do however see a bowtie on the via, is this the indication that it is associated to the plane?

Planes are shown in negative polarity. You may need to zoom in closely on the layer to see connections. If you go into the View > user's preferences > display to show planes as positive. The bow tie on a pin does mean that the pin is connected to an internal plane.
