How to modify or add to the BOM

At this time, edits to existing parts in the PCB123 BOM will not save, thus requiring modifying the BOM outside the software.

To do this, click on Save BOM and save your BOM to an easy to find location such asyour desktop. This will save your file as a .htm document. After hitting save, it will pull up your BOM in IE. Close Internet Explorer.

Launch your favorite spreadsheet application, such as MS Excel. Now open your .htm document in your spreadsheet (in Excel it is File - Open - yourbom.bom.htm).

Now you can make your edits, when you are done click File and then Save As and resave your BOM as a XML Spreadsheet.
